Im French and I have found that this feature is very helpful to improve understanding and figuring out words in speech, and therefore the nuance behind texts. Notably when people are laugthing and you dont understand why :0) Now when needed I pick up the ´word on dictionary to translate for it and then laugh intensionaly.
